Maggie, Welcome to the Amaryllis forum. Since your plants are outside I assume that you live in the Southern half of the USA. The white double with the pink picotee edge could be Aphrodite or a similar one called Rainbow sold by Amaryllis Bulb Company. There is a lot of variation in markings on these two cultivars. Some Aphrodites have a lot of dark pink some are almost completely white with just the dark pink edging. I think that it depends on the particular strain. I've even seen different markings on blooms from the same bulb. There can also be variations in markings from season to season but they always have the pitocee edge. There are so many internet nurseries pre-selling Amaryllis bulbs in the summer. Cheaper is not always better as some of us have discovered over the years. The main criteria for me is healthy and correctly labeled bulbs, and responsive customer service if there is a problem. Amaryllis Bulb Company is a small Florida company that has nice bulbs, and good customer service. When you call, you are talking to the owner. But, there are many good sources for bulbs
