No anchovies for me. I have fed them to my cats though, along with sardines and mussels. They don't much like the mussels. I read somewhere that those oily fish are good for the cats on occasion and since I make their food mostly from chicken, I give them canned fish occasionally.

I think I have lost my moment with this banana bloom. I was really busy this weekend and couldn't get to it and today I see that it has started opening already with some formed fruit. That's quick but may be because of the extreme heat we are having. I've kept the recipes and will try it on the next bloom when it is younger.

I did get the shrimp so I'm going to BBQ it with some pesto tonight, luckily I threw it in the freezer when I bought it. Pesto shrimp and coconut rice for dinner. yum
