Love sunflowers! Those look great!

About the fungus, I removed all of the spores I found on plant leaves by removing those leaves, and changed the soil in the 2 pots the fungus was living in. I don't think it can survive in my yard since I don't mulch with shredded wood - haven't been able to find any the past few yrs, but it was making a living in those pots (which did have some shredded wood mulch from a batch of "home made" potting soil I made a few yrs ago.) I put the soil from those 2 pots in a plastic bag in the dumpster, just in case it can get going in shredded leaf mulch. That was last summer, I haven't seen any more of it.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
