Lots of Epis require lots of trees...or a large shade structure. Mine suffer from being crowded in the space I have. Of course that didn't stop me from buying a new cutting at the Spring Garden Show. They only bloom for a short time, once a year, but they're so worth it....even if I'm the only one that ever sees them.
