Twinks said:I'm very new to growing Adeniums but would like to learn this method. Sorry if I ask a lot of questions. Can this be done to a seedling as well as a more mature plant? After cutting the initial plant at stage 1 do you have to dry off then put in neem oil and how soon do you plant thereafter? Also do you place the plant directly on the soil or do you put on a plastic disc to spread the roots out? Thanks

the youngest seedling i seen that have been trained is a 1month old seedling, but thats like a gamble, experts says between 6months to 1yr old, older plants you can do this easily, after i cut the plant i dip them to neem oil, i use neem oil as a fungicide, then dry them for 10days
and yes you can put a disc on the bottom of the cutting if you want your roots to spread out in a symmetrical way
