Here is an update! The brown pupa hatched! I didn't get to watch it happen but I found this in the jar this morning!
I do apologize for the poor quality photo.
Now I just wait for the blackish pupa to open
Thank you all for talking me into putting it in a jar to find out what it is. Now off to bug guide to see if I can match it up.
