They were from the same litter last April at our neighbor's farm. Our pets had died the previous year: Two cats age 18 & 19, and our little dog age 12+ (from liver failure). It is amazing how attached we get to our animals! And they are 'family' in every way. We also have five chickens so we don't lack pets now!
