I think they multiply the Lady Slippers in tissue culture now. They are still so very expensive. Plant Delights sells a lot of different ones. He says they increase over the years. I think I will try one in the next few years before I croak. LOL.

Hydrangea Serrata 'Kurenai' is one that has really impressed me. Every single branch almost has flowers on it, but my favorite thing about these is how the foliage turns dark where the sunlight hits the leaves. The blooms also start out white and gradually turn red.
