I agree this may not be a plant for everyone and may not 'fit' into a neat and orderly garden bed. This may be 'invasive' or a 'garden thug' to many or most people, but the plant is edible even though it is not commonly grown as a food plant now. If you are thinking about getting rid of these beautiful plants, before you start applying nasty chemical, please consider offering them to some local group who may be growing food plants.
