We hit the triple digits yesterday ....
I keep saying I can only complain about the heat or the cold, but not both. I may change my mind about that this year.
Our day temps will be in the 90s and low 100s for the next few months. It will be a blessed day when it drops to the 80s.
Do you know what the heat zone is for your garden ? Also, is your part of Texas humid or arid ?
I won't be planting any clematis until next spring because I worry about bringing young plants through the heat. I think, from what I have read, you have been given good advice for your plant, but just am not ready to chance it this summer for a new plant of something I've never grown.
