Not much blooming as far as new ones. My front yard seedlings are 2 and 3 years old. Some are blooming for the first time this year. They've grown large in fan size, so they are really producing some nice scapes just loaded with blooms. I have a soaker hose that winds around that front border bed to try to keep them hydrated in this heat. It seems to be working! I do understand that most daylilies do seem to bloom more abundantly in full sun instead of my partial shade beds. There is a trade-off though .... horrible-looking foliage with lots of blooms in full sun vs. nice foliage in partial-shade but not nearly as many blooms on each scape.
This is one of my many unknown parentage seedlings. I do believe one parent of this one is Roses in Snow. I've gotten many seeds from seedlings of this parent in my garden. They always pass down the RIS traits, which are apparently dominant traits. Either way, this was quite a lovely show of flowers today from this seedling:
