My new house has a mature camellia and it's not looking too good .. I've never had one before so I'm going to have to learn some new tricks to make it a happy camper.

First of all, what kind of food does it like ... acid or alkaline and are the roots deep or rather shallow?

Second, some of the leaves are not looking good! Can someone identify the problems and tell me how to fix it please?
