Hi All - I love the poppies that I have in my front border…….. up until they finish blooming - but they sure look awful after they finish. The foliage sprawls, and starts turning yellow in the center. Does anyone have any suggestion as to how to tidy up that mess?

My Siberian iris get tied into sheaths, but I don't know if I can get away with that with poppies. I usually end up cutting them back somewhat, but I am not sure thats so good for them either.
