Regarding the weed block....I have also had previous problems with it. The only reason I was using it here is to keep the stones from becoming embedded in the soil since I don't have large rocks...just smaller river rock. I think I may reconsider this. Pros? Cons? Thanks to all of you for your input. Chelle, I am glad you decided to post as it is better to change my plan before I go any further...it requires some thinking.
