I suppose the experience of trial and error , shows why here ,, Grafting , cell pressing , cross pollinating , all show why , some Echinacea (Coneflower lovers , have gone through the time to learn how ,
I have done of my efforts a double purple before , lived about 4 years , and some off color shades from seeds .
As for seeds , Milkshake (seed does not come true or will be Sterile , ? seed luck ) Purple (native )
And perhaps White Swan ( as the season ends I will usually have ,
My Coneflowers are only beginning to bloom ,

In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
