, but, if you suspect disease, I'd at least dig it, and maybe pot him up, put the pot off by itself, and let nature take it's course ! You might be wise to "drench" the soil where it was planted .......maybe some 10% bleach water, or hydrogen peroxide solution (1 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1 gallon of water).......if I've ever HAD mosaic on any plant.....I didn't know it 
, and really don't know much about it.....does it cause leaf varigation ?
