Joyce, I used exterior waterbased enamel porch paint. I bought it in pints and there are three shades of green used in my leaves. The blue ones you are referring to we done by someone other than me. I will say that mine have held up very well outside all winter and still look much as they did when first painted a year ago, no flaking or chipping, just a slight fading where the water runs over the leaf. They have been outside since they were first painted. I will have to take new pic of them this year.
