I've been so confused on the pruning. Some are ever-bearing, which means they produce berries twice, and some only bear once a year. Something like that anyway, and if I remember right, you prune them a little differently. Not knowing which kind I have didn't help matters at all. I just noticed about 20 minutes ago that some raspberries are growing right in the middle of the blackberries, which wasn't supposed to happen, but I'm happy that I'll get some fresh raspberries before too long! Not sure how I'd ever get them out of the middle of the blackberries, but I'll try this fall. Thankfully the blackberries are thornless too, so I won't look like I met up with an army of angry attack cats.
