Another GST emerged yesterday...still a few chrysallises left. The itty bitty cats on my milkweed are mix-and-match, some Monarchs and some Queens. Ah well, my plan for my A. texana milkweed this summer had been more about getting seed from them, since we've finally had a better year and they're doing better, except for the voracious beetle larva on some. But the eggs/cats are on those A. texana milkweeds. I went out today to get more food for the one 5th instar Queen cat and then discovered there were 3 eggs on the piece of milkweed I'd already cut!
