Cameron, I think my Hoya kerrii variegata is also in some orchid bark mix. I have not repotted this plant since I got it, just added an outside clay pot to help support the plant and added some leftover clay rocks on it.
My Hoya shooting star is going temperamental again, throwing off its blooms..but on closer look, it is doing that because it is ready again to grow new buds.

Cast off blooms below, glad it all landed on the tray!
Closer look of peduncles, tips ripening again, new buds forming once more.
