The C. asiaticums are fairly common around here, every old homestead has them and some have white anthers and some red. I have seen them with curly and straight petals, it may even be determined by the temperature or how much rain or even the soil. So many little things can influence the appearance of the petals.
Minds are like parachutes; they work better when they are open.
