Joy, you are absolutely right. The ones that I had didn't thrive so I don't know if they are correctly named or not. Since I"m new to the daylily party it may have been me, but the fans or rootlets were very very small to start with. The fans that I received this season from Maryotts' Garden were big and healthy. I understand that since Maryott's is in California, they may not stay as large in my zone, but there was no comparison to the GHW plants. I'm with you...I'm not planning to order from them again.
