Ok, thank you. I'll try the less bleeding technique.
Do you recommend how much water I should use when I do have to water it? They are in 9 inch Nursery #2 Pennington Black containers from home depot.
Would I water it slowly till I see excess water come out of the drainage holes or should I give it a certain amount of water? 1 qt, 1/4 gallon, etc etc?
