Teresa,
seed pods are ripe in about 6 weeks but best to be sure and wait until they start to split. You can pinch the pod and if it cracks open with only a little pressure, the seeds are ripe. We have been harvesting seeds for about a month now. We dry them for a couple of days and refrigerate until we are ready to plant. We are now harvesting 20 or more pods per day.
