Seedfork said: has the breeding program just resulted in all rust resistant plants? Is rust even a problem in that particular garden, and were the plants grown in other locations to test for rust?

Jamie Gossard is in USDA Zone 5, Ohio where rust shouldn't overwinter (other than possibly in a greenhouse) so one would assume either the plants were tested elsewhere, the ratings were posted by someone other than the hybridizer who has grown them, or he has some method for testing where he is, which is possible because I've done it here in USDA Zone 4.
