Being in a slightly ( Hilarious! ) different climate than you, right now my hoop house has some pepper and tomato plants growing, hoping they will still be carrying on for a while longer than the ones out in the garden. Later on I'll put a few cold-hardy plants in, lettuce, chard, corn salad -- they will usually still be going until close to the end of the year without heating at all -- and some will start growing again early in the spring.
