@Kabby, the La Courtine that haven't been nibbled by the critters come back, it's less than 100 each season, but enough to make an impact. They're planted on a slope, so they have good drainage.
@Kabby, try some tulips, you won't regret it๐.
Tulip Blushing Lady, Pink Impression, and Gudoschnik have also come back, but also not the full 100 of each amount either.
The Dutch Iris do return in my zone, I've had good luck with Apollo.
The fall sales haven't started yet, I usually wait until November to see what's on sale at Van Engelen. I've never seen a fall sale at Colorblends.
This fall, I'm going to remove all of the old tulips from the bed with my newly replaced Kwanzan cherry, and plant them in my back beds, where I hardly have any tulips. I plan on planting Tulips Pink Cubed, and Blushing Lady to have a prolonged bloom season.
