I used a gallon of warm tap water, Mary Ann. I used warm so the aspirin tablet would dissolve thoroughly. You can let it cool after that before applying. I slowly drenched the soil deeply in order to get as good a coverage of their roots as possible. This was not a test as I did not do it for one rhizome and not the other. I just hoped it would work and gave a good dose to all the ones that were in stress and that I had not discarded.
