Welcome to the start of the blooming of the Southern Hemisphere where, we of the other side of the world, show that daylilies never sleep. Always they are flowering somewhere.

My first has flowered today on the last day of August. Winter went straight into summer here - and we still have "spring" to come next month. The earth seems to have gotten absent-minded in the subtropics of Australia.

Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
