Well, it could be Quercus texana but the acorns aren't yet ripe, it's difficult to say for sure as others look similar.

I'm going to ask you to look under the leaves and look for "Axillary tufts of tomentum on the lower surface vein angles" which can be seen on the photo of the underside of leaves on this site ... next to the mid-vein tucked into the radiating vein angles.
