I spotted another Anhinga along the waters edge early this afternoon; it looked funny with it's neck stretched out and it was making strange gawking noises. I looked around thinking maybe there was a snake in the water but all I saw were turtles. After a few minutes the Anhinga jumped in and swam away.

I haven't seen one bird visit the feeders today, more than likely due to the hawks our and about, looking for an easy meal. I took the dog out an hour ago and this Red-shouldered Hawk was perched on the next door neighbors roof:
