Well about 11 years ago I purchased Spacecoast Starburst and Destined to See from a reputable seller on Lily Auction. When they bloomed they were similar in color but not at all like the pictures you see online of these two plants. My Spacecoast Starburst had a fine gold edge, (not the edge seen in pictures) and Destined to See didn't have a color edge at all. I immediately thought that my climate had something to do with their appearance. I emailed the seller, sent her pictures, and when she told me she would have to check with her supplier about these plants, I knew that they were tissue cultured. I gave the plants another year to see if they would improve, and they did not. I discarded them and purchased the real deals.
