If a professionally and properly tissue cultured daylily is grown in a field under typical growing conditions for enough time so that any lab and greenhouse environment effects disappear then there will be no differences between the tc plant and the crown divided plant. No one will be able to tell the difference. Proper experimental procedures and statistical analyses of the plant appearances in the field will not be able to detect any differences.
A substantial number of different plant species and varieties that are grown in gardens as flowers, as crops and within homes as house plants are tissue cultured.
