A few years ago I crossed Alocasia macrorrhizos 'Borneo Giant with Alocasia nycteris (formerly A. advincula, also called the Batwing Alocasia). The cross yielded just a few seedlings which grew vigorously. At first I thought to call them "Pterodactylians", but later began referring to them as Alocasia "Manta Ray" due to the leaf shape. Alas, the plants proved to be very sensitive to cold weather, so I have since lost most of them. I now use the name "Manta Ray" to refer to the much hardier hybrid of A. odora and A. nycteris, which has a very similar leaf shape..
