At least your old homes are lived in and maintained. My old home has been vacant for over a decade and more! I just can't imagine letting a home fall apart like that. A yard maybe, but a HOME ..... I can't wrap my mind around someone doing that. That is like flushing a large drum full of money down the toilet. The house will never sell. Whoever gets it will have to gut it and attempt to renovate it or more likely have to tear it down and rebuild. It won't happen. It won't. It would be too expensive to do that for the area it is in. It is in an older neighborhood now. No one would invest that kind of money. I just don't understand why an owner would allow that to happen. Maybe they have money and it is not an issue for them? Otherwise, I just don't understand doing that .... for the life of me ..... ?????

Oh well.

I love the home I am in now. No pool (we didn't want one), but a nice yard and a decent neighborhood. I hope to live here until the day I pass away. Thumbs up
