Hello, everyone. My name is Paul and I'm a--wait, where am I again? Right. I have far more bearded iris than I know what to do with, and will probably acquire quite a few new ones anyway. I think there's still a bit of sidewalk that's not edged yet. Many of the beardless are difficult to grow here, but that doesn't stop me from brutally torturing them all the same.
I'm at that age where I'm no longer willing to hold forth on how old I am. Eventually I'm sure I will grow out of that, but we'll see. I'm a slow learner. And I only color my mustache because my wife asked me to. I have three sons and one daughter to help me acquire those grey hairs, and a very patient wife who is the inspiration in my life and the voice of reason that I rarely listen to. She would tell me to delete this paragraph.
I'm a senior computer analyst at a nonprofit hospital. I run a web development and hosting business that provides websites primarily to nonprofits. I have a nursery that specializes in heirloom tomatoes, unusual veggies, and exotics. I publish freelance articles, short stories and poetry. I do a lot of photography for the websites, articles, nursery, etc. and occasionally exhibit. I make my wife fix the sprinklers, work on the cars, and do general repairs around the house because I'm too l--wait, scratch that last sentence.
Nice to see you all here. So many familiar names to me, but I read more than I post. And I'm sure I've got some of Dee's iris in my yard.
Edited to say that this is Tickety Boo, an SDB. I hate it when people post pictures and don't tell me what they are so I can go dream about owning one just like it...
