Well, it never was slated to come here but being a Floridian I know they are just "weather guessers" & they've missed enough times for me not to rely tooooo heavily on forecast tracks, models & predictions. I was waiting for it to take that northward turn & when that happened I felt better. Green Grin! However, where we live now in the north central part of the state I worry much, much less & odds are if we ever get one come across us here it will just be what we call "a big blow" as opposed to when we lived directly on the southeast coast down in Hobe Sound --- you had to worry for 6 months of every year.
