Thank you for the comment. It is always a treat to know of others who appreciate raptors. Kestrels are probably my favorite. We've seen different raptors, but the Kestrels stay here for long periods. We had a pair nest this summer in our box. Their preferred food seemed to be rodents and snakes. I was kind of shocked about the snakes, but maybe they were easy prey until the bugs were more abundant.
