My favorite "candies" are Awesome Candy and Raspberry Candy. They both perform well in my zone 7b. Not a really high bud count, but oh so beautiful. The clean background colors and bright eye colors on both of these create striking blooms. I won my first blue/purple ribbon with Raspberry Candy, and I did almost nothing to it as far as grooming. It was just perfect. The other RC in that show was much shorter than mine, not sure why, but I do grow this one in part shade. Maybe it's reaching for the sun? In any case, these are permanent keepers for me.

I sold this one a couple years ago, but I miss it. Beautiful soft shade of pink out of Janice Brown.
I do not have Huckleberry Candy, but it is very special to me. When I first started growing daylilies I found Huckleberry Candy on
http://perennialresource.com and I fell in love. I went straight to Pike's Nursery to buy it. They did not have it and could not order it for me. I was disappointed, but determined to find it. In my search I found and joined the Northwest Georgia Daylily Society. A few years and nearly 200 daylilies later, I am now president of that club, and a member of 2 others. I found what will be a life-long passion because of this one plant. Here's a photo of Huckleberry Candy from the 2015 National Convention.
