TY, Stush & Deborah!! I would SO LOVE to see the blooms of any of those, going to leave it alone. The corking doesn't bother me to look at, if it's normal, actually kind of cool to know I kept it alive long enough to turn woody. (I said upthread I was going to yank it out, but, being the well accomplished procrastinator that I am, it didn't actually get done.) Since the other plants in the same pot look normal too, I'm going to call this solved.
