Hmmmm....wonder if I could put them around just the plants they bother most? I do not have deer, but I certainly have rabbits. I may try this in the spring. I use Repellex now and it works pretty well, but it takes a week or two to get dispersed through the whole plant and sometimes that's long enough to destroy it. It's more labor and less attractive to temporarily cage it.
