I should have some Lin. I found that by varying their pot size, I could control their growth to a great extent. The ones that went into 6-8" pots in the spring are twice as large (and many are blooming) than those in 4" pots. I also learned that those kept root bound in the 4" pots were much more likely to grow pups than those in larger pots. Since bromeliads don't feed much from their roots, I did not think that pot size would matter much. Lessons learned. Hurray!
