Thanks Neal. I know my daffodils don't seem to mind. Some plants are real fussy about it, and others are not. Even the peonies tolerated it, but I could see a decline in the plants, and they didn't bloom anything like the ones at the other end of the garden. I guess I will soon find out. I know I will look forward to the blooms in the spring.
