Thank you, Tiff! I'll research those CV's and see if descriptions match up!

Now for the Walmart deals I got...

Carnosa 'Rubra' hoya (Krimson Princess) - $3.49
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/3f64d0
UPDATE: This poor plant suffered from a bout of whitefly infestation when I ordered a gardenia last year. It was put outside and sprayed down, but was left outside and suffered when temperatures started dropping into the freezing range at night. I sprayed it again and brought it inside where it was doing well until just a few days ago (mid-January) when it started developing white sacs in the branch elbows again. It's been sprayed and, fingers crossed, will stop having these whitefly(?) infestations. Otherwise, it's doing well.

Succulents in magnetized/designer mini planter (there are two) - $1.99 each ($3.98 total)
My best guesses for IDs on these are Torch Plant (Aloe aristata) and Haworthia (Haworthia attenuata f. clariperia)...any confirmations, disagreements, or alternate possibilities are welcome!!)

As of early 2017, these are doing great. Both are bigger now. The aloe is slightly etoliated, but both are happy and have doubled in size.

Sansevieria - $0.74
I think this is the 'bird's nest' variety - am I right? I just got one or two of these from Tiffany (purpleinopp) in the mail that were much bigger, but I loved how cute this was and for less than a buck, I thought it would be a great add to somewhere small and darker in my house.

UPDATE: This plant is doing extremely well as of early 2017.

Panda Plant - $0.74
This was unlabeled, but I'm nearly certain it's a Panda Plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa), I just don't know what variety. I don't think it's the Chocolate Soldier one listed in our database, but if any of you know, please feel free to chime in!

This plant did well for awhile and then I think it dried out. I am trying to recover it from the green parts that were still on the plant, but nothing is taking root so far. We'll see...

Dracaena 'Limelight' - $1.19
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/1cb9a8
This plant Is doing well. It's in a room of the house I rarely go into, so it's experienced drought-like conditions on more than one occasion, which resulted in brown leaf tips, but otherwise it is doing great.

Dracaena Fragrans - $0.74
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/bfbd90
As of early 2017, this plant is doing well. I keep forgetting to water it because it is the only plant in that room (and it's in a darker area), so it has some brown leaf tips, but it does very well despite the occasional neglect.

Baby Jade - $0.74
...which I suppose is different from regular Jade (which I also have...but nearly killed by accident this year)
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/bae357

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) - $1.74
This appears to be a different variety of Aloe Vera than what we have in the plant database...does anyone agree? I'm probably going to add it.

The aloe is doing okay as of early 2017. I try not to overwater it because that's how I lost previous aloe plants. This one seems to be doing okay, but I lost the smaller shoots late last year and, more recently, I think it got mad at me with the lack of water and it leaned over and started looking unhealthy...but then two, fresh green shoots popped up shortly after, so I'm not sure what to make of that.

Pilea 'Aluminum' (Aluminum Plant) - $0.74
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/e8df98
LOST mid-2016. This plant is very sensitive to drought and didn't like a prolonged period of lack of water due to busy-ness/procrastination.

Peperomia 'Belly Button' - $0.74
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/dc3d85
This plant is doing well for the most part, but is in an area that apparently gets less light than it wants, because it is completely elongated (etoliated) and looks very different from what you see here...it looks much more like a hanging plant now, but otherwise it is quite happy--green, fuzzy vines and all.

Peperomia 'Golden Gate' - $0.74
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/3f9328
This plant is a ROCK! Despite being in a room I almost never go into and experiencing drought-like conditions as a result, it is doing excellent and put on a great deal of growth.

Succulent Planter - $2.50
I think the jade in this one is the actual jade, not the baby jade, and I'm guessing the panda plant is the same CV as the other, larger one I have, but unknown CV....the other one I just don't know...I would just say it's an echeveria of some sort. Can anyone else confirm/suggest IDs?
Thumb of 2015-11-04/DogsNDaylilies/88cb5c
The jade is doing well. The panda plant dried up and the other succulent rotted out; go figure. Most of last year I had this pot in a room I almost never go into and it was on a shelf where it wasn't getting much sunlight--direct or indirect--at all (although, depending on the month, it might get about 10 minutes of direct sunlight before being cast into mostly-dark conditions again). It would seem that only the jade enjoyed those conditions.

Total for the 13 items (15 plants total...plus the nice planters on a couple of them) from Walmart is: $18.08

(I didn't realize I was so consistent in my plant purchase totals Hilarious! Clearly, I got more plants for $18 at Walmart than Lowe's, but I think I scored almost equally well at both places!)
