Xeramtheum said:Got my plants! Since these are my first Cordylines, I need a crash course in how to take care of them. First of all, what kind of substrate do they prefer? Do the roots like a lot of room or prefer tight boundaries and will they tolerate a greenhouse environment that can get into the 40's at night for extended periods?

I usually pot them up to a 1 gal pot using a good potting soil for indoor plants. Let the potting medium dry a little between your watering, do not keep the soil soggy. The plants will be fine in those temps at night. The Keely's Golden is nice and bushy. Hurray!
