I have an Ironweed that might be Missouri Ironweed, but cannot be absolutely certain because I have two other species on other areas of the property. I learned they can hybridize fairly easily. I planted Missouri Ironweed seeds out back, which is where this plant is, but it didn't come up until this year and the others have been in the yard earlier. When I was comparing the leaves with other MO Ironweed photos, the leaf shape was the same, but mine did not have the reddish stems.

I have images (seeds, seed heads and plant), but would not feel right about putting them on the Missouri Ironweed page. Can a page for Vernonia species be created for a case like this?

Thank you.
