Verbiage
Let's first establish some terms that will be used in the presentation so that we are all on the same page:
SSP – Seed Swap Platform
Swap – relates to a particular group led by an organizer; (“Swap” and “swap” may be used interchangeably in this presentation.)
Swap Home Page – a page on ATP (not external) that displays information about the Swap; also a portal of entry for potential Swap members. (We will take a look at the elements of the Swap Home Page later.)
Round – a particular period of 'active' status for a given swap. (ex: The Mo's Veggie Seed Swap has two rounds per year, one in the fall and one in the winter.)
Trade – an individual exchange of items between two users which may consist of one or more items being given and/or received.
Freebie – an item (or items) given to another member without receiving anything in return; this is still part of a trade and a freebie is agreed upon by both members in an exchange.
Donation – an item, or items, given to a swap organizer for the purpose of distributing to other swap member(s) at the discretion of the swap organizer
Tip – the voluntary or mandatory recompense given to a swap organizer for their time in organizing the swap/round; may be monetary, plant-related, or other item from the organizer's wishlist.

Vendor - the person who is giving the seeds (for trade or as a 'freebie') to another person. (The opposite would be the 'recipient'.)
