Hybridizing for blue has been part of our program since we started and something that really peaked Ashton's interest in daylilies. I currently have several hundred seedlings from parents with some blue appearance in the blooms. Several seedlings have been blooming in our gardens and starting next spring there may be 500 or more seedlings with blue eyed parents. Also using Little Blue Angel, Blue Flirt, Dixie Blues, LW Calico Blues, Crystal Blue Persuasion, in diploid program.

I have one other trait that I am using to get to blue, that is watermarks crossed with blue eyes.
