See if you can get one or more of the "Daylily Addict" DVDs. They are full of interviews of well known hybridizers, done fantastically and very entertaining and informative. It's such a shame that they are no longer being produced.

AHS doesn't have them to my knowledge, but you may be able to find someone you can borrow it from. You could also try contacting Charlie Dorsey to see if he has any copies available for sale.
