That's why mine get cut so often. I have to control their size. Congratulations on the re-bloom from the old spike.

I really have no set schedule for fall/winter fertilizing, Rick. I am not that organized. Sighing! I probably average fertilizing (1/4-1/2 tsp./gal.) every third watering though. I am a subscriber to weakly-weekly.
